Minis in the Ozarks History

Minis in the Ozarks started out as a weekend getaway for the members of the Arkansas Mini Owners Klub in 2007 and grew an event that draws Mini enthusiasts from all over the United States and Canada to what is known as one of the best, and friendliest, regional Mini events. It is held every October in the beautiful small resort town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas in an scenic area with some of the country's best twisty roads.

With the Covid pandemic of 2020, we scaled back the event and eliminated the meals, parties and registration and still drew 75 cars.  In 2021 we added a reception every evening and a car show and attracted 140 cars for three days of driving and camaraderie.

During 2022 to 2024 OKMINI took over management of the event using the same formula. They have been big supporters of the event since it was started by the Arkansas Mini Owners Klub. AMOK members attended and lead some drives, the details and management of the event were handled by OKMINI. Thanks to OKMINI for taking over, and thanks to the AMOK members who built the event through the years.

Starting 2025 and hopefully going forward, Mini in the Ozarks is being lead by Betty and Chris Bowling (MITO Inc.).  We are working initially to bring back dinners, a Halloween party, and a silent auction to support the chosen charity, and of course Drives.  Depending on participation and feedback, we will add additional functions in future events.  Registration is returning to help support the cost of the venue and event related expenses.

The headquarters is the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks and special room rates are available.  Call the hotel directly at 479.253.9768 for reservations, please mention "Minis in the Ozarks" for the special rate.  The event and drives are based from the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center.
